In pursuit of perfection, we have developed a truly innovative formula based on a fusion of siloxane nano-diamonds and an exclusive silicone resin, making D.QUARTZ the first coating that offers mechanical resistance to swirls and scratches.

Automotive paints are getting softer and we have finally developed a technology to combat this. D.QUARTZ is the first ceramic coating to use functionalized detonation nanodiamond powder to increase surface hardness by up to 5 points!

The pencil test is a common method of measuring the hardness of paints or coatings. It basically checks which standardized graphite (1H, HB, 1B, 2B, etc.) will be hard enough to scratch the surface. As always, we avoid popular but physically impossible claims of extreme hardness on the Mohs scale and bring you the real facts. If your paint has a rating of 1B, D.QUARTZ will raise it by 5 levels, going up to 3H. Looking for "revolutionary"? This is what it really looks like.

This incredible new technology is made possible by the carefully controlled size and spherical shape of our diamond nanoparticles in combination with their activated surface structures. This allows the diamonds to electrostatically bond to other ingredients in the coating, as well as to the surface itself. Essentially, D.QUARTZ is not just an ordinary ceramic coating with a cold additive known for its hardness. Diamonds are an integral part of the D.QUARTZ nanostructure.

D.QUARTZ can be used as a stand-alone coating for automotive paint and will produce the same results when used on metals. Beyond toughness improvements, it offers strong chemical and environmental resistances, as well as our pride and joy in being soft and self-cleaning.

However, in testing, we found that D.QUARTZ really excelled as an overlay basecoat with C.QUARTZ Professional, bumping hardness up an extra notch on the pencil scale and bringing the unparalleled performance of CQ Professional into the mix.

For now, D.QUARTZ is available exclusively to certified installers, but we are working on a consumer version. So stay tuned.
